I hope that he passes in spring,
When the ground is soft and
birds flock to sing
When the air is fresh,
May he draw his last breath
I pray God is listening
Nature help soothe
our deep blue
As life 'round the planet
you gently renew
As a wonderful man
bids his adieu
A peace shall surely
accompany too
A garden I'll plant in his honor
To tribute my wondrous father
And life shall go on as disparate and new
That I will soon thrive
the way he would choose
When the ground is soft and
birds flock to sing
When the air is fresh,
May he draw his last breath
I pray God is listening
Nature help soothe
our deep blue
As life 'round the planet
you gently renew
As a wonderful man
bids his adieu
A peace shall surely
accompany too
A garden I'll plant in his honor
To tribute my wondrous father
And life shall go on as disparate and new
That I will soon thrive
the way he would choose
